Another happy conversion from Timeslips...

"Our professional consulting firm, Compliance Service of America (CSA), needed a replacement for TimeSlips when we converted our office to OS X. Having used Apples and Mac's for over 15 years, switching to another platform was not an option. It seemed that the only application missing for the conversion to OS X was a timekeeping program. Then we found Brief Legal and Brief Encounter, the time keeping module for Brief Accounting.

We converted to Brief Encounter and Brief Accounting in March of 2005 and the two programs have worked excellently for our 10 timekeepers. Brief Encounter is easy to use and as a stand-alone application is better for our billers who work remotely or travel. We are only using the parts of Brief Accounting that handle time and billing and trust funds, and this has worked very well for us.

The conversion required us to re-think our billing processes, but the Brief Legal team provided assistance and converted our Timeslip's data. We continue to be very impressed by the practical and technical assistance from the Brief Legal staff. Their responses have always been prompt and helpful. We have now used the programs for 4 months and it has worked very well for our company. We have discovered the program has all of the reports and sorts we could want and billing is now so much simpler. Had we known what know now, we would have switched from Timeslips to Brief Legal much sooner. Even if you are on the Windows platform, I would recommend Brief Legal's excellent products."
